Cobbitty is a beautiful historic town locating in the Macarthur Region of New South Wales, Australia. The 52 square kilometre state suburb is administrated by the Camden Council, a local government area of Australia. Camden is surrounded by Greendale, Bringelly, Oran Park, Theresa Park, Harrington Park, Brownlow Hill, Camden and Kirkham suburbs. The postcode of Cobbitty is 2570. It located 60 km south-west of Sydney CBD and 10 km west of Campbelltown.

The area now known as Cobbitty was originally home to the Muringong, southern most of the Darug people. Settlement began in the early 19th century following the establishment of John Macarthur’s Camden Park Estate nearby. Cobbitty Post Office opened on 1 May 1869.
